02 · Why we exist
The work exists. Being found for it is the hard part.
Kenya trains more skilled professionals every year than its formal job market absorbs. Engineers, accountants, project managers and consultants spend months between roles, not because the work is absent, but because there is no dependable way to be found for it.
A great deal of that demand sits in contract and project work, which is also the hardest part of the market to enter. Opportunities travel by word of mouth. Agencies are difficult to tell apart. A professional’s track record resets every time they move.
We think that is a routing problem rather than a talent problem, and routing is something a platform can actually fix.
A career should not restart every time a contract ends.

To give independent professionals in Kenya a single verified record that travels with them, and to connect it to companies and recruiters who are themselves accountable.
We are not trying to increase the number of adverts. We are trying to make the opportunities that already exist reachable, and the people behind them verifiable.

Built around sensitive information
Contractor holds identity documents, verification results, work eligibility and engagement records. That is sensitive material. It is why verification sits before access rather than after it, and why each party sees only its own part of the record.
Verification confirms what was checked and when. It is a platform credential, not a government licence, and it is not a guarantee of anyone’s conduct.
